MLB: Milwaukee 4, Arizona 2

MILWAUKEE, July 25 (UPI) -- J.J. Hardy hit a tie-breaking homer in the seventh inning and Ben Sheets pitched seven innings for the win Monday as Milwaukee beat Arizona, 4-2.

Lyle Overbay and Brady Clark also homered. Both had three hits for the Brewers.

Sheets (6-7) threw 120 pitches and walked three batters -- the second-most of any of his 16 starts this season, But he held the Diamondbacks to two runs and seven hits while posting seven strikeouts.

Koyie Hill drove in both Arizona runs in the loss, the Diamondbacks' fifth in their last seven games.
