PHOENIX, July 14 (UPI) -- Anna DeForge scored 19 points Wednesday night to lead Phoenix to an 82-62 win over the Charlotte Sting.
Penny Taylor added 17 for the Mercury, who have won three in a row. Diana Taurasi added 15 and had eight assists for the Mercury, who shot 58.2 percent from the field.
The trio combined to shoot 19-for-28 (67.9 percent) from the field.
Jia Perkins came off the bench for 21 points to lead Charlotte, which has dropped two straight and remains with the worst (3-14) record in the WNBA.
Tangela Smith added 17 points and Allison Feaster scored 15 for the Sting, who shot 40 percent from the floor.
Charlotte now has lost 10 straight road games, going back to last season.
