MIAMI, July 6 (UPI) -- Juan Encarnacion hit an RBI single in the 12th inning Wednesday night to give the Florida Marlins a 5-4 win over Milwaukee.

Florida pitching retired the last 28 Brewer batters in a row. In the come-from-behind victory, Encarnacion had three hits and also scored the game-tying run.

Juan Pierre, Miguel Cabrera and Alex Gonzalez all had two hits for the Marlins, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Winning pitcher Valerio De Los Santos (1-0) pitched a perfect 12th.

Loser Wes Obermueller fell to 1-2. Geoff Jenkins drove in two runs for the Brewers, who lost for only the second time in their last seven games.
