
FINDLEY LAKE, N.Y., July 2 (UPI) -- Bubba Dickerson carded a four-under 68 on Friday to take the lead after round two of the Lake Erie Charity Classic at Peek 'n Peak Resort.
The 2001 U.S. Amateur champion completed 36 holes at nine-under-par 135.
Boo Weekley fired a six-under 66 to take second place at seven-under-par 137. Esteban Toledo, Scott Weatherly, Jamie Broce and Tom Johnson were one shot further back at six-under-par 138.
Steve Pate, David Branshaw and Rick Fehr tied for seventh place at five-under- par 139. Jeff Gove, Deane Pappas, Jimmy Green, Jerry Smith, David McKenzie, Richard S. Johnson and Ryan Hietala shared 10th place at four-under-par 140.
The 36-hole cut fell at one-under-par 143 with 69 players qualifying for the weekend. Troy Matteson, who is second on the 2005 Nationwide Tour money list, made the cut on the number after a round of 70.
