CHICAGO, June 28 (UPI) -- Carlos Zambrano pitched eight shutout innings and Derrek Lee hit his 23rd home run of the season Tuesday as the Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 2-0.
Zambrano (5-4) allowed three hits with six strikeouts for the Cubs.

Jerry Hairston Jr. also drove in a run for Chicago, which has won three straight and five of its last eight games.
Doug Davis (9-7) suffered the loss after he allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings. Davis struck out nine and gave up just two walks.
