Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

CLEVELAND, June 24 (UPI) -- Ken Griffey Jr. hit two home runs Friday night to help the Cincinnati Reds beat the Cleveland Indians, 5-4.
Felipe Lopez knocked in the go-ahead run with a double in the ninth inning. The Reds improved to 3-0 under interim manager Jerry Narron.
Cleveland has dropped four straight. Jose Hernandez hit two home runs for Cleveland.
Indians reliever Bob Howry fell to 4-2. Winning pitcher Kent Mercker improved to 2-1.
Lopez and Joe Randa each had two hits for Cincinnati.
