Scheckter wins Bombardier Learjet 500

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 11 (UPI) -- Tomas Scheckter got his first victory since July 2002 Saturday night when he won the Bombardier Learjet 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Scheckter, who had failed to complete four of his last five events, finished 0.0534 seconds ahead of Sam Hornish Jr. It was the second victory of Scheckter's IndyCar career.
