MLB: Cincinnati 14, Tampa Bay 5

CINCINNATI, June 9 (UPI) -- Sean Casey had three RBI and Jason LaRue smashed a two-run homer Thursday night as Cincinnati pounded out 14 hits in downing Tampa Bay, 14-5.

Cincinnati swept the three-game series with Luke Hudson getting the win in his first appearance of the season. Hudson had been out since spring training with a sore shoulder and was activated prior to the game.

He gave up five runs on only three hits in six innings.

Tampa Bay's Casey Fossum (2-4) allowed five runs on four hits in four innings.
