MLB: Florida 5, Seattle 4

MIAMI, June 8 (UPI) -- Dontrelle Willis became the first pitcher in the majors to reach the 10-win mark Wednesday night as Florida edged Seattle, 5-4.

Carlos Delgado drove in all of Florida's runs, three of them with a homer.

Willis (10-2) allowed four earned runs, the most he has surrendered this season. Seattle managed 10 hits against him in 6 2/3 innings.

The Marlins had lost their previous three games and 11 of 13. Seattle had won three in a row. Gil Meche (5-4) suffered the loss, allowing four runs on six hits in five innings.
