Four-way tie for Memorial third round lead

DUBLIN, Ohio, June 4 (UPI) -- There was a four-way tie for the lead at 12-under-par 204 Saturday at the end of the third round of the Memorial golf tournament.

Second-round leader Jeff Sluman (68) was joined by Bart Bryant (66), David Toms (64) and Fred Couples (66).

Woody Austin had a 65 to move into a share of fifth place at minus-11 with Jonathan Kaye (68). Peter Lonard was at 206.

World No. 2 and three-time champion Tiger Woods spread four birdies and three bogeys over his round at Muirfield Village Golf Club. His 71 put him in a tie for 10th at 208.

"I didn't get off to a very good start today, I hit some good shots, but didn't make any putts," said Woods. "I'm very pleased with the way I hit the ball on the back nine. I put the ball on the wrong side of the holes too often."
