MLB: Washington 3, Atlanta 2

WASHINGTON, May 30 (UPI) -- Marlon Byrd had two RBI doubles Monday afternoon to lead the Washington Nationals to a 3-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

Tomo Ohka (4-3) earned the win by allowing just one unearned run on two hits and four walks in seven innings. Ohka has won three consecutive decisions since April 23.

Nick Johnson had three hits and scored twice for the Nationals. The Braves had just three hits and lost for the third time in their last four games.

Atlanta's Andruw Jones hit a solo homer off Chad Cordero with two outs in the ninth inning. The Nationals closer then retired Johnny Estrada on a long fly ball to end the game and pick up his 12th save.
