BALTIMORE, May 27 (UPI) -- Craig Monroe's two-run homer gave Detroit a 4-0 lead in the sixth Friday night and the Tigers held on to nip Baltimore, 4-3.
Nate Robertson (2-3) gave up three runs on six hits over 7 2/3 innings to get the win as Detroit ended a four-game losing streak.

Baltimore loaded the bases with two away in the ninth, but Ugueth Urbina struck out Jeff Fiorentino to end the game.
Sidney Ponson (5-3) took the loss by giving up four runs over eight innings.
