DAVIE, Fla., May 26 (UPI) -- Work has begun on a bust of former Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino to be placed outside Miami's Pro Player Stadium.

The sculpture is being done by Utah-based artist Blair Buswell, who has sculpted busts for more than 50 members of the NFL Hall of Fame since being commissioned by the Canton, Ohio, museum 23 years ago.

The list includes former Dolphins' running back Larry Czonka and long-time coach Don Shula.

Czonka was inducted in 1987, Shula in 1997.

Marino is being inducted this summer.

"This is pretty special stuff," Marino told the Miami Herald. "It's something you only do once, so I want to enjoy the moment and have fun with it."
