MLB: Texas 7, Kansas City 3

ARLINGTON, Texas, May 25 (UPI) -- Hank Blalock had a homer and three RBI Wednesday night as Texas won its fifth straight, 7-3 over Kansas City.

The Rangers pounded out 14 hits with Richard Hidalgo producing his third home run in two nights.

Pedro Astacio, who has struggled for most of the season, limited Kansas City to two runs on four hits while improving to 2-5. It was his first win since April 19.

Kansas City's Zack Greinke (0-6) gave up four runs on six hits. Greinke came into the contest with just 1.4 runs of support per game, lowest in the majors.
