SEATTLE, May 20 (UPI) -- Jake Peavy threw three-hit ball over seven innings Friday night as San Diego got past Seattle, 6-1.
Ramon Hernandez hit a solo homer in the second and Miguel Olivo added one in the eighth to pace the Padres' offense.

Peavy (4-0) retired the first 12 men he faced before Richie Sexon opened the sixth with a single. Peavy walked one and struck out 12.
The loss went to Ryan Franklin (2-5), who allowed five runs on only three hits over 6 1/3.
