MINNEAPOLIS, May 20 (UPI) -- Carlos Silva went the distance Friday night and was supported by a 16-hit attack as Minnesota rolled over Milwaukee, 7-1.

Silva (3-2) had lost two starts in a row, but gave up just five hits in helping the Twins win their third in a row. Nick Punto went four for four to lead the Minnesota outburst.

Punto drove in a run during Minnesota's four-run second. The loss went to Gary Glover (2-3), who retired only four batters.

Milwaukee has lost six of seven.
