Fourteen horses, including Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo, drew for post positions Wednesday.
Afleet Alex will start from the 12th spot in Saturday's race. Giacomo, which was given odds of 6-1 and will start in the 13th position, was only the fourth choice in the morning line after carrying odds of 50-1 at the Derby.
After sending five horses to the post in Kentucky with no success, trainer Nick Zito will have three in the Preakness. He will saddle Sun King, Noble Causeway and Florida Derby winner High Fly.
High Fly is the second favorite for the Preakness at 9-2 after finishing 10th in the Derby.
Closing Argument, the second-place finisher at the Derby as an even longer shot than Giacomo, was listed at 5-1.
