SAN DIEGO, May 15 (UPI) -- Dave Roberts capped a 10-run seventh inning with a three-run homer Sunday as the San Diego Padres routed the Florida Marlins, 12-4.
The Padres have won five of their last six games. Brian Giles contributed three RBI to the victory.

Rudy Seanez (2-0) earned the win in relief of starter Brian Lawrence. Lawrence lasted 5 2/3 innings, surrendering four runs on eight hits, while striking out four.
Damion Easley had two RBI for the Marlins, who have lost three in a row for the first time this season.
