MLB: Pittsburgh 4, Milwaukee 2

PITTSBURGH, May 15 (UPI) -- Daryle Ward had three hits and two RBI Sunday to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 4-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Tike Redman and David Ross also knocked in runs for the Pirates, who took two-of-three from the Brewers and have won nine of their last 12 overall.

Dave Williams (4-3) earned the win. He allowed two runs and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings with one walk and six strikeouts. Jose Mesa recorded his 13th save.

Loser Gary Glover fell to 2-2. Milwaukee outhit Pittsburgh 12-6, but left 10 men on base.
