Kahne wins NASCAR pole

RICHMOND, Va., May 13 (UPI) -- Kasey Kahne won the pole Friday for Saturday night's NASCAR Chevy American Revolution 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Earlier in the day, Kahne won the pole for the Busch series race.

Kahne turned in a time of 20.775 seconds over the 3/4-mile track. It was the second pole of the season for Kahne.

Ryan Newman qualified second, followed by Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch.
