MLB: Cleveland 9, LA Angels 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 11 (UPI) -- Ben Broussard had a single, double and home run Wednesday in helping Cleveland coast past the Los Angeles Angels, 9-3.

Jhonny Peralta and Casey Blake also had solo homers for the Indians while Coco Crisp went three for four.

Cliff Lee (4-1) picked up the win by giving up three runs on five hits in six innings. The Angels have lost four of their last five, but still lead the AL West by 1 1/2 games over Texas.

Kelvim Escobar (1-3) took the loss, surrendering four runs in five innings.

Cleveland overcame an early 3-1 deficit. The Indians went in front for good with Grady Sizemore scoring from third on a ground out by Travis Hafner.
