MLB: Atlanta 9, Colorado 5

DENVER, May 11 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Braves scored six runs in the first inning Tuesday and beat Colorado 9-5, winning for the sixth time in their last seven games.

Johnny Estrada hit three hits, two RBI and a run scored for Atlanta. Marcus Giles added four hits and drove in a run.

Preston Wilson, Clint Barmes and Desi Relaford each singled in a run for the Rockies.

The Braves had 14 hits to 10 for the Colorado, which has lost 11 of 13.
