ATLANTA, May 8 (UPI) -- Mike Hampton pitched a two-hitter and hit a home run and Ryan Langerhans drove in six runs Sunday to lead Atlanta to a 16-0 rout of the Houston Astros.

Hampton (4-1) tossed the 21st complete game of his career in the Braves' fifth win in a row. Only three Astros reached base.


A homer by Hampton in the eighth inning was his 15th in the majors.

Langerhans, a rookie, belted two home runs. Andruw Jones added a three-run homer and Eddie Perez hit a two-run shot.
