MLB: Boston 7, Seattle 2

BOSTON, May 6 (UPI) -- Matt Clement allowed one unearned run in seven innings Friday night as Boston downed Seattle, 7-2.

Bull Mueller had four RBI and David Ortiz added a homer for the Red Sox, who have won six out of seven and four in a row.

Clement improved to 4-0, surrendering five hits with a lone walk.

Seattle has dropped six in a row. Jamie Moyer lost for the first time this season after picking up four wins. He allowed six runs on seven hits.

Mueller singled in the first two runs of the game in the second.
