Woods leads field at Quail Hollow

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 3 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods tries for his fourth title of the year in the Wachovia Championship this week at Quail Hollow in North Carolina.

World No. 1 Woods, winner of the Masters last month, is among several top 10 golfers in the field.

Others include Vijay Singh, Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, Chris DiMarco, Padraig Harrington, Sergio Garcia and David Toms.

The tournament starts Thursday at the par-72, 7,442-yard Quail Hollow course.

Woods also won the Buick Invitational and the Ford Championship this year.

The 29-year-old star has 43 titles in his PGA career.

Singh, in 13 events, Mickelson in nine and Woods in eight are 1-2-3 on the money list in 2005.
