Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SAN DIEGO, May 3 (UPI) -- Adam Hyzdu doubled in three runs for San Diego Monday in a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies.
Sean Burrougs drove in the other two runs for the Padres, who won for the third time in their last four games.
Todd Helton had a home run and two RBI for the Rockies, who have lost five in a row.
Adam Eaton (3-1) was the winner, yielding six hits and four runs in six innings. Colorado starter Jeff Francis (1-1) took the loss.
