AVONDALE, La., May 1 (UPI) -- Tim Petrovic two-putted for a par on the first hole of a playoff Sunday to earn his first victory on the PGA Tour at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Petrovic sank a 20-foot birdie putt at the last regulation hole to tie James Driscoll, who had a 70, for the lead at 13-under 275.

Chris DiMarco, who held the 54-hole lead when the third round was completed Sunday morning, bogeyed the closing hole to join Lucas Glover at 12-under 276.

Petrovic and Driscoll returned to the par-five 18th. Driscoll hit his drive into the left rough, his birdie try went eight feet past the hole and his par putt missed to the right.

Petrovic was three shots behind DiMarco to start the final round.

Driscoll had a chance to win in regulation after his third shot to the closing hole was five feet from the cup. He missed his birdie try.
