MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 6, Colorado 2

LOS ANGELES, May 1 (UPI) -- Jason Repko hit a three-run homer to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-2 victory Saturday over the Colorado Rockies.

Brad Penny (1-0) threw six shutout innings and Cesar Izturis was 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Dodgers, who scored five runs in the fifth inning.

Yhency Brazoban got the final out with two runners aboard to get his seventh save.

Brad Hawpe finished 3-for-4 with a home run and drove in both Rockies' runs.
