NBA: Sacramento 116, Seattle 104

SACRAMENTO, April 30 (UPI) -- Mike Bibby scored 31 points Friday night and Sacramento took advantage of a hot shooting performance to defeat Seattle, 116-104.

Sacramento narrowed its deficit in the opening round playoff series to 2-1 and will try to even things up when it hosts Game 4 on Sunday.

The Kings owned a 12-point lead after the opening period and they held off Seattle the rest of the contest. Sacramento shot 51 percent from the field and made 33 of 36 free-throw attempts.

Cuttino Mobley added 23 points for the Kings while Seattle was led by 33 from Ray Allen.
