Neumann leads rain-played tourney

FRANKLIN, Tenn., April 29 (UPI) -- Liselotte Neumann had the lead Friday when play was halted during the second round of the Franklin American Mortgage Championship.

Neumann shot a 5-under 67 over the Iron Horse Course for a 36-hole total of 5-under 139.

Defending champion Lorena Ochoa and Hee-Won Han were also at 5-under, but both had seven holes remaining when the action was halted by darkness.

Rain forced a delay during the second round.

Heather Bowie and Stacu Prammanasudh were both at 4-under 140 while Wendy Ward was also at 4-under with six holes remaining.
