MLB: Florida at Colorado, ppd., snow

DENVER, April 27 (UPI) -- The scheduled game between Florida and Colorado was postponed Wednesday night because of a combination of rain, snow and cold temperatures.

The game was delayed at the start for an hour and a half and when it began, the temperature stood in the mid-30s with a blustery wind blowing.

With Colorado owning a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second, heavy snow began falling and the game was halted. A half hour later, it was postponed.

It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.
