ARLINGTON, Texas, April 26 (UPI) -- Adrian Beltre hit a two-run homer in a three-run first-inning outburst Tuesday and the Seattle Mariners went on to beat the Texas Rangers, 7-4.
Raul Ibanez had three hits and two RBI and Richie Sexson had three hits and three runs for the Mariners.

Joel Pineiro (2-1) gave up four solo home runs but only two other hits over 7 1/3 innings to get his first victory in eight appearances at Texas.
David Dellucci, Mark Teixeira, Kevin Mench and Alfonso Soriano all homered for the Rangers.
