MLB: Cleveland 5, Seattle 2

SEATTLE, April 24 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Indians recorded a 5-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners in the second of a three-game series at Safeco Field in Seattle.

Cliff Lee (2-0) struck out five in seven scoreless innings and allowed four hits and a walk, while throwing 70 of his 107 pitches for strikes.

Ron Belliard homered and ended 3-for-5 with two runs scored for the Indians.

Richie Sexson had two hits and an RBI for the Mariners.

Aaron Sele (1-2) was charged with three runs in the loss. He allowed six hits and three walks while striking out six.
