SAN FRANCISCO, April 22 (UPI) -- Deivi Cruz singled in a run in the 13th inning to give San Francisco a 4-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Thursday.
The Giants loaded the bases for Cruz, who drove in Lance Niekro with a drive through the left side of the infield.

Niekro hit a two-run home run for San Francisco. Chad Tracy slammed a three-run homer for Arizona, which has lost five of its last seven games.
Tyler Walker (1-0) pitched two innings in relief and got the win. Mike Gosling (0-2) was the loser.
