SAN DIEGO, April 22 (UPI) -- The San Diego Padres defeated Los Angeles 6-1 Thursday, ending the Dodgers' eight-game winning streak.

Ryan Klesko and Ramon Hernandez each drove in two runs for San Diego.

The win was the first for the Padres in five games against the Dodgers this season.

The winning pitcher was Adam Eaton (2-1), who worked into the sixth inning, yielding a run and five hits. Scott Erickson (1-1) was the loser, giving up five runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings.
