MLB: Tampa Bay 6, NY Yankees 2

NEW YORK, April 19 (UPI) -- Eduardo Perez hit two home runs Tuesday when Tampa Bay ended an 11-game losing streak at Yankee Stadium by beating New York, 6-2.

Perez had a two-run homer and a solo homer. Aubrey Huff, Travis Lee and Jorge Cantu each had an RBI for Tampa Bay. Perez and Huff each scored two runs and Perez's three RBI were his first of the season.

Tampa Bay's Hideo Nomo (2-1) gave up one run on six hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Jason Giambi homered for the Yankees.
