PHOENIX, April 13 (UPI) -- Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire scored 27 points in a 99-85 win over New Orleans Tuesday.

The win kept the Suns a game in front of San Antonio on top of the Western Conference playoff standings.

Jim Jackson had 20 points and Shawn Marion added 18 points and 17 rebounds and Joe Johnson 16 points for Phoenix.

J.R. Smith had 23 points for the Saints, who have lost four straight games.
