ARLINGTON, Texas, April 13 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Angels pounded out 14 hits Tuesday in a 13-8 win over the Texas Rangers.

Orlando Cabrera drove in three runs and Jeff DaVanon two for the Angels.

David Delluci and Adrian Gonzalez homered for Texas.

John Lackey (1-0) got the win, allowing five hits and three runs before leaving in the sixth. Chris Young (0-1) took the loss.
