MLB: Baltimore 7, Tampa Bay 6

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 12 (UPI) -- Brian Roberts drove in the game-winning run, and Sammy Sosa hit his first home run in a Baltimore uniform Tuesday as the Orioles beat Tampa Bay, 7-6.

Roberts wound up 2-for-4, including his fourth home run of the season with three RBI, two runs scored and two steals.

Tampa reliever Casey Fossum (0-1) recorded just one out in taking the loss. He allowed two runs on three hits. Devil Rays starter Scott Kazmir allowed five runs on six hits and three walks in five innings.

Baltimore starter Daniel Cabrera also gave up five runs on seven hits in five innings. Todd Williams (1-0) went two scoreless innings for the win.
