WASHINGTON, April 9 (UPI) -- Chris Rolfe scored five minutes after halftime Saturday night, allowing the Chicago Fire to salvage a 1-1 tie with D.C. United.

Mike Petke scored United's goal in the 40th minute.

Fire defender Leonard Griffin was unavailable after being suspended for one game by MLS for picking up two yellow cards last weekend at Dallas.
