CHICAGO, April 9 (UPI) -- Carlos Zambrano gave up one hit over 7 1/3 innings and drove in a run Saturday as the Chicago Cubs blanked Milwaukee, 4-0.
Zambrano went two for three and Jeromy Burnitz bombed a homer for the Cubs, who had dropped their three previous games.

Milwaukee lost for the first time this season. Russell Branyan delivered the only hit for the Brewers.
Ben Sheets (1-1) took the loss while giving up four runs on eight hits in seven innings.
Branyan's single came in the second inning, after which the Brewers were stymied by Zambrano. He struck out six and walked two.
