ATLANTA, April 9 (UPI) -- Brian Jordan had a grand slam homer Saturday night in leading Atlanta to a 6-3 decision over the still winless New York Mets.
Atlanta has won four of its first five games. Chipper Jones went two for four with a home run.

New York is the only team in the majors without a victory. The Mets, at 0-5, are off to their worst start since opening the 1963 season with eight straight setbacks.
Jose Reyes went two for five with a homer for New York.
Pedro Martinez will pitch for the Mets Sunday as they try for their first win. Martinez will face John Smoltz, who was shelled in his first start and who is making his home debut.
