Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
ANAHEIM, Calif., April 7 (UPI) -- Alfonso Soriano hit a 12th inning solo home run Wednesday to give Texas a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Soriano homered off reliever Bret Prinz (0-1).
Darin Erstad and Bengie Molina each had two hits for the Angels.
Brian Shouse (1-0) pitched a perfect bottom half of the 12th and got the win.
