AMELIA ISLAND, Fla., April 7 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Lindsay Davenport breezed into the quarterfinals of the Bausch & Lomb Championships Thursday before rains moved into delay the action.
Davenport defeated Kveta Peschke 6-2, 6-2, winning for the 11th time in 12 matches.

She needed just 52 minutes to get off the court.
Vera Zvonareva also earned a quarterfinal spot by defeating Elena Kikovtseva 6-4, 6-4.
