ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 4 (UPI) -- Orlando Hudson and Eric Hinske both had two-run homers Monday, allowing Toronto to open its season with a 5-2 victory over Tampa Bay.

Vernon Wells added a solo blast for the Blue Jays while Roy Halladay worked seven innings to get the win.

Halladay allowed two runs on nine hits and did not walk a batter. Miguel Batista got the save by recording the last four outs.

Dewon Brazelton gave up three runs on five hits over 7 1/3 innings. He was perfect for three innings, but gave up Hudson's two-run homer in the fourth that gave the Blue Jays the lead.
