BellSouth Classic postponed again

DULUTH, Ga., April 1 (UPI) -- Heavy rain Friday postponed the BellSouth Classic at Georgia's TPC at Sugarloaf for a second straight day.

The first round of the tournament now is scheduled to begin early Saturday.

Tournament officials said the plan is to play 18 holes Saturday, another 18 Sunday and 36 Monday.

The tournament leads up to the Masters, which begins Thursday in Augusta.

Defending Masters champion Phil Mickelson and U.S. Open champion Refief Goosen, the fourth- and fifth-ranked golfers in the world, lead the field in the BellSouth event.
