Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
LOS ANGELES, March 24 (UPI) -- Corey Maggette scored 34 points Wednesday night and halted a Milwaukee rally to give the Los Angeles Clippers a 116-108 decision over the Bucks.
The Clippers entered the fourth quarter with a 20-point lead only to see the Bucks cut it to six inside the two-minute mark.
Maggette then hit a three-pointer with 1:41 to play to end Milwaukee's comeback bid.
The Clippers won their second straight while Milwaukee has lost three in a row.
Los Angeles shot 58 percent from the field with Elton Brand contributing 24 points.
Milwaukee was led by Michael Redd with 31.
