COL BKB: Wisconsin 71, Bucknell 62

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 20 (UPI) -- Mike Wilkinson had 23 points and nine rebounds to lead No. 19 Wisconsin to a 71-62 win over Bucknell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Alando Tucker added 17 points for the Badgers (24-8), who will play North Carolina State in the Syracuse regional semifinals next week.

N.C. State beat second-seeded, No. 14 Connecticut earlier Sunday.

Chris McNaughton scored 23 points to lead Bucknell (23-10).

Bucknell led 44-43 midway through the second half before Wisconsin staged a 21-8 run.
