SEATTLE, March 19 (UPI) -- Ray Allen had 38 points Friday night in helping Seattle fight off Orlando, 98-90.

Orlando lost its seventh straight game and the SuperSonics ruined the head coaching debut of the Magic's Chris Jett.

Jett took over Thursday when Johnny Davis was fired.

Seattle was outshot from the field but made 20 free throws to just six for the Magic.

Steve Francis led Orlando with 19 points.
