Antonio Haynes scored 29 points Wednesday night as Western Kentucky advanced in the NIT with an 88-80, overtime win over Kent State
The Hilltoppers will take on Wichita in the next round.
Anthony Winchester added 20 points for Western Kentucky (22-8) while Kent State (20-13) was led by 29 from Jay Youngblood.
Kent State owned a four-point halftime lead and then forced overtime when Jason Edwin made a field goal with less than a minute remaining to tie it at 61-61.
